Eva Mendes is the cover girl of the latest November issue of Harpers Bazaar Australia. In the interview, Eva talks about her heritage, her style, dieting and her famous curves.

On her curves: “I have to work out four to six times a week. It’s because I enjoy pasta and having a biscuit with my coffee. I didn’t work out today, but tomorrow I’ll run Bondi to Bronte. My Cuban heritage means if the zipper doesn’t zip up the whole way, we just say screw it! No big deal.”

On her exotic look: “I definitely feel my ethnicity or exoticness has got me to where I am, yet at the same time it can also hold me back because studio heads or directors are reluctant to cast me as an all-American girl. Those parts go to Drew Barrymore, who is actually a good friend of mine.”

On her upbringing: “When I was little I wanted to earn lots of money. I grew up in Silver Lake, LA, and we were very working class. I used to say to my mum: I’m going to buy you a big house, pay your bills and you’ll never have to work again. Then I discovered nuns don’t get paid, so I thought: How am I going to buy these houses?”

On her style: “I try not to stand out. My style can be a little kooky, but I don’t want to be known for how I dress. I’ve made a conscious decision to stay away from dresses that make me stand out in a ‘fashiony’ way. I certainly love fashion, but I want to be known for my work. Not for being controversial on the red carpet.”

The 45-year-old actress gets candid about hubby Ashton Kutcher and her daughters with ex Bruce Willis. Mom and all three daughters appear in photographs by Peter Lindbergh.

Demi on the age difference between her and 30-year-old Ashton: “People made such a fuss about it you would have thought the world had never seen it before. Age wasn’t what I was thinking about, but to the rest of the world it was a very big deal.”

Demi about her close relationship with her ex-husband Bruce: “One of the most healing things for Bruce was seeing me meet someone who has brought me so much happiness. And I so much want the same for him. We get so much from being able to share holidays and spend time with all of us together. The kids don’t have to choose. They’re getting double the support, double the love, double the encouragement.”

Demi’s 14-year-old daughter Tallulah on her extended family: “We are one big family. Late at night, after a long day, we can sit around and laugh with one another.”

Mary-Kate Olsen has officially dealt with her body image issues. In the new issue of Harper's Bazaar, the twin mogul tells the mag that you can often find her lounging at home -- in the buff!

"I run around my house naked with heels all the time. It's so funny. All my friends will tell you I love running around in kimonos and jewelry or naked with jewelry."

I have to say, for someone who battled an eating disorder, that is quite impressive. My friend Jen used to always say "If I had so-in-so's body I would walk around naked, with only shoes and a bag." Maybe Mary-Kate feels that good about her bod these days. If so, I think that's wonderful.

“I feel like I’ve lived 10 different lives already and I’m only 21…But I also feel like I’m entering a new chapter," she said in the interview, promoting her upcoming stint on HBO's Weeds. Apparently, this is the naked chapter.

Gwen on her bosy-pregnancy body: “Your metabolism is like, whooosh! You’re sleep deprived, but you have this crazy amount of energy because of all those hormones. I’m scared what’ll happen when it all stops. What it’ll feel like, going back to the regular me. Now I’m in a repeater zone. I just want to make babies and make records.”

Gwen on her ‘My Fair Lady’-inspired spread: “I’ve gotten a little more feminine over the last few years. As the years go by, you get more comfortable with looking more like a woman.”

Gwen on struggling to maintain her size 4 figure: “I hate talking about it, but it’s true. I’ve always been on a diet, ever since I was in the sixth grade. It’s an ongoing battle and it’s a nightmare. But I like clothes too much, and I always wanted to wear the outfits I would make. And I’m very vain.”
